The third edition of One Step Ahead was recently published.
Updated for 2009, this very popular and useful financial-planning guide is written to assist people with disabilities who rely on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medical Assistance (MA). Suggestions are offered as to how one can own or benefit from money, homes, and other property in ways that will not jeopardize their chances of receiving and keeping SSI and MA benefits.
