WHO:   Parents and students in high school special education programming in Waukesha County.

WHAT:   To explore post-secondary options.  Representatives in attendance will be:

Post-Secondary Schools

• University of Wisconsin-Whitewater – Nancy Amacher
• University of Wisconsin Milwaukee – Barb Simons
• University of Wisconsin-Waukesha – Judy Becker
• Waukesha County Technical College – Colleen Gonzales

WHEN: Thursday, December 11th 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Waukesha County Technical College Richard T. Anderson Education Center

WHY: There are many options and opportunities that are available as young people leave the high school setting.  It is imperative that you and your child make these contacts now.  This Transition Night is an opportunity to gather some of that vital information.  Some programs have waiting lists and special requirements.  The high school years go by so quickly; don’t let your child be faced with few options out of high school. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents. Refreshments will be served!!!
